According to Fort Wayne Police Department Public Information Officer Raquel Foster, Allen County dispatchers received a call just before 7:40 a.m. from a person who saw the Genung driving a white Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound on U.S. 24 and disregard the traffic light at the Homestead Road intersection.

Luckily, the woman and everyone involved in the accidents are all okay. People on the news site (wane.com) are saying this woman should be arrested, should have had a family member take her to the hospital, etc. Sometimes, we don't know these problems exist until something like this happens.

While she may deserve tickets, I don't believe an arrest is warranted here. She may have been fine when she left home and lost it with no warning. Thankfully no one was seriously injured. Cars can be fixed or replaced, loved ones cannot.
